Senior Network Engineer, Routing and Switching

Administration and management of complex networking solutions in enterprise data centers and remote offices across the globe. Extensive working experience on Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches, along with Cisco ISR Routers. Expert knowledge of ARP, MAC Address Table, VLAN, Spanning Tree Protocol, Ether channel, Switch Stacking, HSRP/VRRP, Access Lists (ACL), and NAT. Hands-on experience in Enterprise LAN and WAN configuration and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN technologies (IPSec, GRE), and routing/switching principles. Hands-on experience in implementing security measures like access control lists (ACLs) and firewall policies to protect the network. Must have experience in enterprise network operation in handling escalation and severity cases. Coordination with ISP, clients and onsite technical teams for troubleshooting network and security incidents. Providing permanent remediation for affected endpoints in our network environment Documenting network issues related to Incidents with in-depth event logs, RCA, and evidence IOS/firmware upgrade in Cisco network devices as and when required.
