As an Oracle Database Consultant, you will be part of a team that provides complete support for all aspects of managed database and application infrastructure operations to Pythian’s customers. You will be installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle databases, designing and implementing Oracle backup/recovery strategies, and developing methods for monitoring.

Provide operational support and consulting services to a global client base, architecting and supporting storage and backup solutions for customers. Requires in-depth knowledge of storage & backup infrastructure with hands-on experience on NetApp filers, DELL EMC storage systems, SAN, NAS and Unified storage systems. Manage backups, configure storage, monitor hardware health, and participate in change control processes.

Engage with customer organizations, understand their business, and establish technical and business credibility to cultivate relationships and envision creative sales and solution strategies that generate additional revenue. Oversee holistic solutions from both business and technical perspectives, organize and lead technical customer needs identification, and lead the creation of customer-specific services and technology solutions.

As the Senior Site Reliability Engineer you'll ensure services and systems are reliable by focusing on scalability, latency, performance, availability, efficiency, and observability. The company wants to enhance system reliability while decoupling system size from operational toil and complexity via training and mentoring. You'll use relevant development languages and knowledge of systems, services, and tools appropriate for the business area to build software applications.

As a Pythian Service Delivery Manager you will be essential for ensuring that Pythian’s managed services meet customer expectations and are delivered efficiently and effectively. This role involves managing managed services resources, monitoring service quality, maintaining customer relationships, and continually improving service delivery processes. A successful Service Delivery Manager is a key contributor to customer satisfaction, retention, and the overall success of the organization.

As a Pythian Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling to deliver insights and build predictive models. You will work on both internal IP development and client projects, applying a variety of techniques to solve complex business problems. Additionally, you will use and fine-tune pre-trained models, such as Large Language Models (LLMs), to accelerate development and enhance model performance.
