Technical Claims Specialist, Workers Compensation - West Region

Responsibilities:

• Investigates claims to determine coverage, establish compensability, and verify exposure.
• Resolves claims within authority and makes recommendations on case value and resolution strategy for cases exceeding authority.
• Works closely with defense counsel to manage litigated files and identifies suspicious or adversely developing claims.

Qualifications:

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience and 5-7 years of related claims experience.
• Must possess 1-2 years of complex claims experience and demonstrated proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with California or Washington Self-Insured Certification.
