Responsibilities:

  • Applies HR principles to administer agency-wide HRIS for Civil and Foreign Service programs, ensuring system stability and resolving data discrepancies.
  • Performs complex data extraction, validation, and analysis to support reporting, audits, and transition activities, while developing repeatable data processes.
  • Serves as a system administrator for assigned systems, managing user access, supporting security, and coordinating system updates with stakeholders.

Transition Support:

  • Supports HRIS transition activities including data migration, system decommissioning, and cutover planning by preparing, extracting, and validating data for migration.
  • Assists in developing and executing transition plans, ensuring compliance with federal records management, and supporting testing activities like UAT.
  • Contributes to risk mitigation related to data integrity and transition timelines, while maintaining transition documentation for post-transition operations.

Qualifications and Environment:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7-10 years in federal HR/HRIS, with specific expertise in National Finance Center (NFC) applications and HR Connect.
  • Needs strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to document systems clearly for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • This is a full-time remote position within the United States supporting Eastern Time hours, requiring US Citizenship or a Green Card and the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
