Engineering Manager, Fraud & Identity Platform (Canada)

Technical Strategy and Platform Ownership:

• Drive the vision and roadmap for identity and fraud-risk platforms covering authentication, account lifecycle, and fraud prevention.
• Define technical strategies for surfacing identity and risk signals to AI systems and internal platforms.

People Leadership and Team Development:

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of backend and platform engineers through coaching, feedback, and career support.
• Foster a high-performing, inclusive culture with clear goals and regular performance management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Operational Excellence:

• Partner with Product, Security, Fraud, Data Science, Legal, and Operations to deliver capabilities like account takeover prevention.
• Ensure system reliability through service health objectives, on-call practices, and post-incident learning.
