Senior Accountant

Join BetterHelp as a Senior Accountant where you'll be owning billing process for B2B and performing AR aging analysis, proactively resolving outstanding discrepancies. Also, you will be managing collections process, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients, and collaborating with the cash application team to accurately apply payments and resolve unapplied payments. You will oversee the AR inbox for BetterHelp B2B business, providing timely responses and resolutions to inquiries. You'll perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures, i.e. journal entries and account reconciliations. You will need to prepare various balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis for management reporting, identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvement, including engage cross functionally on such initiatives. Lastly, you'll provide schedules as needed for audit and SOX.We operate on PST and candidates in any time zone are welcome to apply. We ask employees to travel to our San Jose, CA office up to three times per year plus one company-wide offsite to collaborate in person and strengthen working relationships.
