Senior Manager, Global Payroll

Groq is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Manager, Global Payroll to lead and scale our global payroll operations. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this is a key role within our growing Finance team, responsible for ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across multiple countries. The ideal candidate brings deep payroll expertise, international experience, and a collaborative mindset suited for a dynamic startup environment. Responsibilities include overseeing global payroll operations, managing bi-weekly and monthly payroll processes, partnering with People Operations, Accounting, and Legal teams, overseeing expense reimbursement processes, supporting equity-based payroll administration, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates have 8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including international payroll exposure and strong knowledge of ADP systems. Experience in a high-growth startup environment and prior people management is preferred.
