Legal Data Analyst

Assist with data collection and standardization. Manipulate and analyze large datasets to translate trends and patterns into actionable insights across case outcomes and firm operations. Analyze case characteristics that impact speed to resolution and collectability. Identify lead sources and channels with the highest ROI. Generate internal reports to support strategic decisions. Suggest improvements to data workflows and metrics collection. They are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or related field preferred. They require advanced expertise with Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, Lookup & Reference Functions, IF statements, etc.) and a strong track record of building out data visualizations and dashboards using Google Looker Studio, Excel, or Google Sheets. Strategic ability to translate complex data into actionable insights is needed. Experience with Clio is preferred and familiarity with relational databases and querying language, basic SQL is a plus. Interest in legal operations, prior law firm or other legal experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and drive projects forward with minimal direction is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure is needed. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills, the ability to hit deadlines, spot typos, and keep your calendar straight is needed.
