Reporting to the CFO, the Corporate and Commercial Lawyer serves as a trusted legal advisor to business units, focusing on commercial and corporate law, contract management, and M&A support.
The role also includes assuming the Corporate Secretary duties over time, ensuring compliance with governance best practices.

Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including supplier, partner, and customer contracts; ensure legal compliance across commercial activities.
Participate in corporate governance by maintaining corporate records, preparing legal documentation, and supporting board meetings.
Support strategic transactions, conduct due diligence, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including tax advisors and financial institutions.

Qualifications and Benefits:

Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. or J.D.) and member of the Barreau du Québec with 10+ years of experience in corporate and commercial law; bilingual in French and English.
