Role Overview:
- Own the product roadmap and backlog for cloud storage services including block, file, parallel file systems, and object storage.
- Define storage system initiatives across durability, performance, scalability, availability, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams on data paths, consistency models, replication, and erasure coding.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in building or operating cloud storage systems at hyperscalers or cloud providers.
- Deep understanding of storage internals including block, file, and object storage architectures.
- Familiarity with technologies such as NVMe, iSCSI, POSIX, Lustre, GPFS, Ceph, and S3-compatible storage.
- Strong ability to analyze performance metrics like IOPS, throughput, latency, and cost per TB.
