Engineering Manager, Tax Payments and Filings

About the Role:

• Manage a team of engineers responsible for building adaptable internal tooling systems
• Apply those rules to our internal engine responsible for generating and processing tax payments and filings
• Lead a team that’s critical to our long-term success

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

• Maintain cross-functional relationships with key partners in Product, Data, Tax Operations, Tax Filings Compliance
• Advocate for and build systems that enable us to hold our correctness bar incredibly high
• Work to understand the context-rich Tax domain, to be able to weigh in on the team’s technical decisions

Here’s what we're looking for:

• Deep technical expertise in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining high-volume, mission-critical systems
• Expertise in ensuring operational excellence for critical production systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
