Scope of Job:
- The BESS Technical Sales Manager drives the growth of the Company’s BESS pipeline.
- They create battery storage project budgets and identify and refine project scope.
- They maintain relationships with developers and IPPs to originate small utility-scale solar project opportunities.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Deep technical fluency in lithium-ion battery systems, power conversion/inverter technology, and control systems or SCADA platforms.
- Proven execution of key account strategies, managing contract negotiations, and maintaining sales pipeline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and financial matters.
Working Conditions:
- Approximately 80% of time is spent in the office environment.
- Approximately 20% of time is spent outside of the office visiting vendors’ and/or internal customers’ sites in addition to attending various conferences and meetings.
