Job Description
The Paralegal, Account Resolution (MVA) will provide administrative and paralegal support to the attorney staff in the MVA division. This individual will draft legal related documents pertaining to potential MVA lien enforcement actions, including demand letters, hospital lien documents, and settlement verification letters. This individual will also engage in account resolution through negotiation with carriers and attorneys representing patients within predetermined settlement authority provided by the MVA attorney team. Key responsibilities include drafting legal documents, providing legal support, identifying approaching statute of limitations, participating in settlement discussions, supplying updates, and working a queue of high priority accounts.
