Job Description

The Benefits Specialist will play a key support role in delivering a seamless and high-quality benefits experience for Deel's clients and their employees. As the main point of contact for ongoing benefit-related inquiries, you'll ensure accurate administration and timely issue resolution across a wide range of health and welfare plans. You'll work closely with clients, brokers, carriers, and internal teams to manage open enrollment, maintain benefit materials, and support employee education. Responsibilities include answering benefit-related inquiries, coordinating with clients and carriers, building client-facing benefit materials, assisting with open enrollment, ensuring client set-up accuracy, helping employees with coverage issues, and acting as a liaison between insurance carriers and employees. Additional duties include leading the annual open enrollment process, partnering with payroll, assisting with monthly benefit reconciliation, and ensuring a high level of customer service.
