Payroll & Benefits Specialist

Rivia Mind is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to oversee payroll processing for 200+ employees across 22+ states, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The role involves managing payroll systems, reporting, audits, and employee support, as well as leading end-to-end benefits administration and plan design across health, retirement, and wellness programs. The specialist manages 401(k), open enrollment, vendor relations, and compliance activities, promoting benefit understanding through clear communication and employee support. Responsibilities include maintaining internal documentation, contributing to People Operations goals, and supporting audits and compliance filings. The role requires expertise in multi-state federal, state, and local tax and benefits regulations to ensure compliance and accurate reporting. The Payroll & Benefits Specialist also leads the annual benefits plan design, system configurations, and related employee education and communications.
