Core Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee 1-3 state battery stewardship programs, ensuring compliance with EPR laws and meeting performance goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with state agencies, local governments, recycling partners, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop state-specific education campaigns and annual reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field with 3+ years experience, or 7 years experience in program management in sustainability or recycling.
- Strong project management skills and knowledge of environmental regulations.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on program management.
Work Environment:
- Remote position based in Washington State with limited travel (5-7 times per year).
- Standard work hours Monday-Friday with flexible scheduling.
