Coding Administrative Assistant - Remote

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Utilizes EMR navigation to locate and obtain required medical records and communicates with external facility staff professionally.
• Enters data into Excel tracking workbooks, utilizes coding platforms per requirements, and prepares reports for aging and KPI monitoring.
• Assists with maintaining team playbooks (SOP/Pathways) and interacts with physicians to address coding documentation deficiencies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a CPC-A, CPC, RHIT credential with minimal coding experience.
• Must possess intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to type 50 words per minute.
• Needs excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills, with the ability to work independently under direction.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND COMPENSATION:

• This is a full-time, remote position eligible for a quarterly bonus based on company and individual performance.
• The base pay range is $16.49 - $26.39 per hour, with the final offer depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
• The company does not hire candidates residing in California, Hawaii, or Alaska and adheres to all company policies including HIPAA.
