Work Model:

  • Hybrid/remote initially, with client mandate for periodic or permanent onsite presence at Austin, TX headquarters (24 hours/week minimum if converted).
  • Must appear in person at Austin, TX for equipment pickup at own expense; no travel reimbursement provided.
  • Work hours Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM CT with occasional overtime; overtime paid at hourly rate with advance approval.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage strategic roadmaps, and prepare high-quality briefings and status presentations for senior agency leadership.
  • Interpret contractual requirements, monitor managed services vendor performance, and ensure deliverables meet technical and procedural standards.
  • Provide technical oversight of PeopleSoft FSCM and HCM 9.2 environments, CAPPS Central production and deployment activities, and IT service desk operations aligned to ITIL framework.

Required Technical Experience:

  • 10+ years Texas state government support, ERP applications systems support, CAPPS program technical support, PeopleSoft technical stack, SDLC/data integration/data quality, technical project management, contract interpretation and vendor accountability, and executive-level communication.
  • 8+ years ITIL framework and IT service desk operations.
  • 3+ years BOSSDesk or comparable ITIL-compliant service desk platform administration.
