Role Mission and Targets:
- You are responsible for closing $1M in new business within your first 12 months by aggressively expanding the company's event production footprint within Fortune 5000 companies.
- You will build your own pipeline exclusively through strategic outbound outreach, industry networking, and leveraging deep-rooted relationships, with no reliance on inbound leads.
- You will manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation, ensuring seamless execution for high-value, multi-event client programs.
Responsibilities and Day-to-Day:
- You qualify, pitch, and close multi-million dollar event programs, providing solutions that align with client business goals and navigate complex decision-making hierarchies.
- You own the full-cycle of the client relationship, from the first 'cold' touch to post-sale support, working with a cross-functional team of producers and technical experts.
- You are expected to be 'in the field,' spending up to 30% of your time traveling to build relationships, attend industry events, and secure deals in person.
Qualifications and Fit:
- You need a proven track record of building a business from scratch, with at least 5+ years of event industry experience, preferably on the agency side.
- You must have established, high-level relationships within target sectors such as Pharma, FinServ, Tech, and Consulting, and a history of managing over $10M in lifetime event revenue.
