Scrum Master / Risk Analyst

About the Role:

• This position combines Scrum Master and Risk Analyst duties on a single team supporting the VA's Office of Clinical Informatics.
• You will facilitate Agile ceremonies while tracking risks to cost, schedule, and performance.
• The role is remote with occasional travel and requires a VA Tier 1 background investigation.

What You'll Do:

• Run daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, clearing roadblocks and coaching the team.
• Collect risk data, update the risk register, and brief risk status to leadership and the customer.
• Track team metrics like velocity and burndown to drive continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, including as a Scrum Master.
• Experience analyzing risk data and writing status reports for leadership.
• Ability to obtain a VA background investigation; certifications like CSM or PMP are desired.
