Job Description
The Vice President of Commercial Operations will develop and lead commercial operations strategies that support sales growth, market access, and customer satisfaction. This role involves partnering with various teams to ensure operational readiness for new product launches and market expansions, translating strategic objectives into executable commercial frameworks and performance initiatives. The role will support the sales leadership team with all aspects of sales operations, including territory design, quota setting, incentive compensation, and field force deployment.
This role also ensures the sales and field teams are equipped with the right tools, systems, and insights to drive performance and customer engagement, establishing standardized processes for sales planning, execution, and reporting. The VP of Commercial Operations will design, build, and scale training programs and resources that support onboarding, continuous learning, and skill development for sales and commercial teams. They will oversee commercial data analysis, performance metrics, and reporting to drive strategic insights and business decisions, managing forecasting processes in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
