About the Role:
- Own and execute Versapay's enterprise data strategy at a pivotal moment in our evolution.
- Drive convergence of data layers into a unified operational backbone for AI-powered features.
- This is a high-visibility, high-impact role with executive alignment.
What You'll Do:
- Define data strategy and architecture, including canonical hierarchies and enterprise ontologies.
- Operationalize data governance with automated classification, RBAC, and executive health dashboards.
- Drive AI enablement and agentic readiness, ensuring safe and scalable deployment.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years in data leadership, with 5+ at Director level owning enterprise data strategy.
- Deep expertise in modern data stack including Snowflake and lakehouse architectures.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams and partner across functions.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and grow the Data Platform Team, building a high-performing function.
- Act as cross-functional bridge between Product, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, and Legal.
- Build a culture of data discipline and represent the function at the executive level.
