SEC Accountant

Role Overview:

• The SEC Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, and proxy statements, in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
• This role works closely with the Director of SEC Reporting and cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and present financial information for public disclosure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review SEC filings, support drafting of financial statement footnotes and MD&A, and coordinate data collection from internal stakeholders.
• Maintain the SEC filing calendar, assist with XBRL tagging, and support responses to SEC comment letters.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and active CPA certification required, with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including 1-2 years of SEC reporting at a public tech company or Big 4 firm.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, experience with systems like NetSuite and Workiva, and strong organizational skills.
