As the Director (Logistics) Operations for main distribution centre in Sevenum, you will spearhead logistics operations. With responsibility for a team of over 1,100 employees, you will lead with purpose, innovate with precision, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Lead and mentor a diverse team of over 1,100 employees, including department leads, shift managers, team leaders, and operational staff, fostering growth and development at every level. Plan and coordinate staffing requirements, set productivity targets, and ensure their achievement through close collaboration with department leads and their teams. Conduct thorough analyses of logistics workflows, track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as SLAs, turnaround times, and cost per order, and drive continuous improvements to enhance efficiency. Anticipate and address growth demands by utilizing forecasts for proactive planning. Spearhead capacity planning and efficiency initiatives to support scalable site operations. Partner with senior leadership to implement long-term logistics strategies, ensuring alignment with future business objectives and growth demands.
