The Sales Engineer is responsible for fostering sales growth by proactively equipping the sales team members with product and process knowledge and training on an ongoing basis. The Sales Engineer reports to the Sales Engineering Manager and is responsible for creating and executing a sales training plan to ensure that all members of the sales team have the appropriate level of product knowledge to successfully conduct sales activity and close business. Tasks include creating and delivering highly personalized technical sales presentations and product demonstrations in conjunction with sales team, implementing processes, materials and training, and assisting in creating certification process for product use/training in partnership with Product Management Team. Also, the role involves representing the platform and products to customers and at events/trade shows and monitoring training programs to ensure up-to-date product information is included and accurate.
