Software Engineer, Part-time

About the Role:

• Build the technical foundation for aiEDU's external-facing products, collaborating with PMs and the data lead.
• Set up infrastructure, monitoring, and alerts for new launches, and manage the lifecycle of launched features.
• Serve as first responder for security incidents, and establish robust security and data management practices.

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensure product quality through code reviews, standards setting, and production readiness checks.
• Audit and harden security across databases and hosting platforms, and own credential management.
• Write clear documentation and runbooks for non-engineers, and raise the team's technical capability.

About You:

• You have 3-5 years of software engineering experience with backend and infrastructure security expertise.
• You are fluent in full-stack development and skilled in AI-assisted development workflows.
• You excel at explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work autonomously.

Benefits:

• Part-time, non-exempt position with flexible remote work in the U.S.
• Compensation is $150 per hour, up to 25 hours per week.
