Utility and Interconnection Strategy:

  • Evaluate site-specific interconnection pathways, utility requirements, and market-participation implications.
  • Identify material cost, schedule, and technical risks early, including study triggers and protection requirements.
  • Develop alternative operating approaches where standard utility requirements create unacceptable delay.

Large-Site and Transmission Readiness:

  • Support Mainspring's transition from smaller projects to 10 MW-plus opportunities across ISO, transmission, or utility thresholds.
  • Help define technical and process capabilities required for larger projects, including grid interaction and compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on power systems behavior and controls.

Process, Workflow, and Systems Design:

  • Design and improve repeatable workflows for interconnection in Jira, including issue types, templates, and milestones.
  • Replace manual tracking with auditable workflow structures that support scale.
  • Build practical instructions for team members to contribute to opportunity scrubs and site reviews.
