About the Role:
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM/PCS codes for inpatient services.
- Sequence codes for optimal reimbursement following ethical and legal guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use encoding systems and query providers when documentation is unclear.
- Support reporting of healthcare data elements and comply with coding policies.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED and AHIMA/AAPC coding certification required.
- Hospital coding experience and 3M 360/EPIC familiarity preferred.
