Job Description
The Pharmaceutical Sales Representative will manage territory accounts and identify the key decision makers. They will inform highly influential physicians about the details of pharmaceutical and medical products and balance time needed in front of customers in order to achieve expected results. It is vital to keep skills and product knowledge updated. The Representative must know how to plan and compete and win in a healthcare market place. Main duties include customer focus/building positive relationships-penetration of large accounts and identifying key decision makers, creative thought process in developing a customer base, creating a territory plan including goals and resource allocation, gain formulary acceptance/compliance with managed care accounts. They should also have scientific understanding of clinical papers and teaming with customers as a business partner.
