Staff Engineer - Distributed Systems

About the Role:

• You will own the architecture health of large-scale distributed systems, focusing on resilience and failure modes.
• You will influence critical-path architecture while remaining hands-on, prototyping solutions and shipping fixes.
• You will work across services, queues, databases, and infrastructure to identify systemic risks.

What You'll Do:

• Review and influence technical designs, providing rigorous architectural guidance.
• Build and ship solutions for complex architectural problems, including reliability improvements.
• Investigate and resolve the most challenging distributed-system failures.

What We're Looking For:

• 10+ years of engineering experience with deep ownership of large-scale distributed systems.
• Expert-level knowledge of Node.js/Go, Redis, Kubernetes, and cloud-native GCP technologies.
• Strong systems-thinking and technical communication skills.
