Job Summary:
- Translate patient medical records into accurate codes for diagnoses and treatments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Responsibilities:
- Code Primary Care, Radiology, and Hospitalist charges.
- Review ICD, E&M, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- Query providers and educate on documentation.
Requirements:
- High school diploma and CPC/CPC-A/CCS-P certification.
- 1 year or less professional fee coding experience preferred.
- GECB/IDX and Cerner experience preferred.
