Lead planning and execution of new database initiatives, migrations, enhancements, and system improvements.
Work closely with IT leadership and the IT PMO to align projects with organizational priorities and governance standards.
Provide strategic direction, foster collaboration, and maintain a high-performance culture within the database and support teams.

Operational Oversight:

Implement and maintain procedures for identifying, documenting, and resolving database-related issues to meet Service Level Agreements.
Oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of proprietary and internal database systems.
Evaluate new database tools and platforms, recommending improvements to enhance performance and usability.

Team and Technical Leadership:

Direct and implement policies for database support operations across the organization.
Mentor, coach, and develop team members to strengthen database expertise and support professional growth.
Track emerging database technologies and best practices to identify modernization opportunities.
