Senior Accountant

About the role:

• This position is needed to partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of Twilio’s carrier COGS.
• You will leverage your experience in automation and data analysis to build and maintain robust processes for contract review and accruals.
• This role is a high-impact position combining technical data sets, business acumen, and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as the dedicated Accounting partner to the Carrier Operations team, streamlining information flow and accelerating data integrity.
• Read, analyze, and document the financial and accounting implications of complex carrier agreements.
• Support the month-end close by preparing complex accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with a mix of public accounting and fast-growing tech/telecom environment.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP, operational month-end close, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and hands-on experience with AI automation tools like Alteryx, UiPath.
