As a Senior Payroll Accountant, this role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with federal and state regulations, and supporting general ledger reconciliation and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring deep payroll expertise, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to process improvement and confidentiality.

Analyze customer data to determine collectability of account balances. Communicate regularly with customers to facilitate on-time payment. Follow up with past due customers to collect outstanding accounts receivable. Communicate clearly and effectively with other departments the results of collections efforts. Assist in managing relationship and communication with third-party collections agencies as necessary. Assist in collections-related data analysis and forecast churn levels related to delinquent billing. Assist in month-end process by giving input to other members of the accounting team. Conduct ad hoc financial/operational analysis as required. Assist with other accounting/finance projects as necessary.

Create invoices, credit memos and statements of accounts for clients. Submit client invoices to Partners for review and approval. Work closely with attorneys and the finance team to resolve invoicing discrepancies and ensure efficient and transparent communication. Record approved invoices and credit memos in the subledger. Send client invoices out via email and client portal uploading. Respond to client inquiries via email and phone in a timely manner.

Assist in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders. Support month-end closing, cash flow management, tax preparation, auditing, banking, and investments. Assist in managing incoming sales invoices, account receivables, amounts due to suppliers, and vendor payments.
