Senior Staff Software Engineer

Position Overview:

• The Sr. Staff Software Engineer is a domain expert and integral member of core technical leadership, mentoring other Staff Engineers and leading organization-wide initiatives.
• You identify and tackle strategically important problems across Product, Platform, and Infrastructure, driving meaningful change in the technology group.

Responsibilities:

• Provide senior technical leadership across engineering teams, driving architecture and implementation of scalable, reliable systems.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Risk, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business outcomes.
• Evaluate systems for improvements in reliability, scalability, performance, and observability.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong background in large-scale distributed systems.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), databases, and CI/CD.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with telephony, contact center platforms, or customer engagement technologies.
• Experience in fintech, financial services, or regulated environments.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems and evaluating emerging technologies.
