Role and Impact:

  • Define and lead a cohesive strategy for KF culture, talent, and operations to build a best-in-class performance culture that supports the One KIPP strategy.
  • Drive a performance culture through talent systems that attract, develop, and retain high-performing, mission-aligned staff.
  • Monitor organizational health indicators and drive improvements based on data and feedback to enhance effectiveness.

Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to ensure clear vision and goal attainment across Talent and Operations teams.
  • Build a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment across workstreams.
  • Partner with Executive Team leaders to ensure all teams embody the vision for a thriving KIPP Foundation.

Strategic Operations and Oversight:

  • Manage and oversee KF Operations work, including governance of strategic plans and design of network processes like feedback loops and annual planning.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex personnel issues, exercising sound judgment on matters with legal or reputational risk.
  • Anticipate risks and remove barriers to execution, representing teams in executive decision-making forums.
