About the Role:
- As a Healthcare Advocate, you will play a vital part in enhancing the healthcare experience for clients.
- This is a remote, 1099 contractor role with flexible part-time or full-time engagement.
What You'll Do:
- Develop trusting relationships with patients and assess their whole person to pinpoint barriers.
- Create individualized care plans and support patients with connecting to services and analyzing medical bills.
- Document interactions and collaborate with teams to refine the patient experience.
What You Bring:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related healthcare field or LPN/LVN credential.
- 2+ years of experience in care navigation, patient advocacy, or related roles.
- Solid knowledge of Medicare rules, empathy, and strong communication skills.
