Deputy General Counsel

About the Role:

• Serve as strategic legal leader and trusted advisor, shaping company growth while building a modern, AI-enabled legal function.
• Partner with General Counsel and senior leaders on corporate governance, commercial transactions, privacy, and global compliance.
• Lead a high-performing legal team and leverage AI to improve legal research, drafting, and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

• Help set strategy for the Legal Department and advise on risk management, governance, and key business initiatives.
• Oversee significant legal matters, draft commercial agreements, and provide guidance on regulatory issues.
• Train employees on legal policies and collaborate cross-functionally in a remote environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• 12+ years of legal experience, including 5+ years in-house, with deep corporate governance and commercial transaction expertise.
• Strong business judgment, curiosity about AI, and excellent communication skills for an asynchronous work setting.
• Experience with class action litigation, consumer protection, and international operations preferred.
