Role:

  • Lead and mentor a team of three commercial lawyers, setting priorities and supporting growth.
  • Build and scale the commercial legal function with automation and AI, including self-serve resources.
  • Partner with executive leadership on commercial strategy, risk tolerance, and legal operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Structure, negotiate, and draft major customer and alliance agreements.
  • Provide legal advice to key stakeholders on commercial and legal matters.
  • Represent the company internally and externally with thought leadership.

Qualifications:

  • At least 10+ years of relevant experience in inhouse or firm settings, with US experience preferred.
  • Strong background in commercial transactions, IP, and data licensing.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing a legal team.
