Jr. Accounting Specialist

Position Overview:

• The Jr. Accounting Specialist is a key member of the Finance team reporting to the Senior Accounting Specialist.
• This role supports monthly and annual reporting, performs routine controller tasks, and assists with regulatory filings and audits.
• Contributes to accurate financial operations through collaboration and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely financial reporting.
• Perform routine controller functions including account reconciliations and variance analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management required.
• 2-3 years of related work experience.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Desirable Qualities:

• Responsible, detail-oriented, team player.
• Experience with NetSuite is considered an asset.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
