Head of Engineering

Position Overview:

• This is a new function-level leadership role reporting to the CTO, owning engineering standards, people, and delivery across three product tribes.
• You will set the bar for how software is built in a regulated Bitcoin-native bank, working closely with Architecture, Quality, Security, and Platform teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and enforce the unified SDLC, change management, and incident response processes with regulator-ready rigor.
• Lead the Engineering Managers, own the tech-debt roadmap, and drive predictable delivery with a 90% on-time target.
• Drive adoption of AI-first engineering practices across code review, test generation, and development tooling.

What We're Looking For:

• 8+ years in software engineering with 3–4 years leading multiple teams and managing engineering managers.
• Proven track record of owning delivery predictability at function level in a regulated environment.
• Strong people leadership, data-driven decision-making, and a clear point of view on AI-assisted development.
