Product Designer, SaaS (Contract Role)

Design:

• Own end-to-end product design across Cargo's product lines.
• Evolve and extend our established design system in Figma and in code as we expand into new product areas.
• Iterate rapidly based on user feedback.

Code:

• Prototype in code, pair ideas with working prototypes to feel it out
• Ship frontend work in React — components, layouts, polish, animation
• Contribute to PRs, participate in code review, work inside the codebase daily

Craft:

• Care about the details that most people skip: empty states, loading patterns, error messages, transitions
• Design QA what ships — catch drift between intent and implementation before users do
