Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop patent and trademark portfolios, working with outside counsel on prosecution and clearance.
- Negotiate complex commercial agreements involving IP and provide strategic guidance to cross-functional teams.
- Advise product, engineering, and marketing on IP strategy, open source, and commercialization.
Requirements:
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar membership.
- At least 5 years of legal experience focused on patent prosecution in consumer technologies.
- Strong understanding of IP portfolio management, licensing, and open source.
