Corporate Counsel, Contractor

RapidSOS is seeking an experienced and business-minded attorney to join our Legal team as Corporate Counsel, Contractor on a 6-month contract basis to support a variety of initiatives aligned with the Company’s growth plans. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a mission-driven environment and is excited by the opportunity to advise across a wide array of legal areas including commercial contracting, government procurement, and data privacy. The role will report directly to the General Counsel and work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Revenue Operations, Strategy, Product and Public Safety. Serve as a trusted partner to internal teams on legal matters related to contract strategy, data use and privacy. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements across verticals. Advise on compliance with U.S. and international government procurement best practices and compliance requirements. Develop and refine internal policies, processes, and templates to improve legal operations and scalability. Stay current on key regulatory developments in privacy, commercial, open source, and related legal areas. Take ownership of legal matters and administrative tasks, delivering high-quality work with accountability and minimal supervision.
