Mission:

  • Ensure all providers submit bills to insurance carriers in a timely manner.
  • Confirm proper insurance carriers pay promptly to maximize net recovery for clients.
  • Verify all provider balances so settlement funds can be distributed as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with providers after providing insurance information to ensure bills are submitted.
  • Maintain accurate records of bills, payments, adjustments, and remaining balances.
  • Coordinate benefits with available insurance including MedPay, health insurance, Medicare, and more.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in billing, collections, accounts receivable/payable, or bookkeeping.
  • Familiarity with insurance terminology (EOBs, claims, co-pays) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong advocacy for clients.
