Associate Product Manager

Newsela is seeking an Associate Product Manager (APM) to join the User Management team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on the core of the Newsela experience. You will optimize sign-up flows, ensure data integrity, and build foundational systems. Responsibilities include improving user onboarding, collaborating with the data team, defining requirements, and empowering internal teams. You will translate product strategy into detailed user stories and work with the engineering team to launch them. The role involves optimizing sign-up conversion rates, reducing friction during onboarding, and ensuring clean, accessible data. You will become the product owner for back-office tooling, discovering pain points and building solutions.
