The Role:
- Accountable for engineering strategy, people, architecture, delivery, quality, reliability, security, and budget.
- Scale the organization and development practices as Polaris grows, pushing AI adoption across software development.
You Will Be:
- Leading managers and ICs across application stack, data pipelines, quality engineering, and cloud platform.
- Partnering with Product, UX, Data Science, and the CPO to sequence investments and make tradeoffs.
- Owning architecture across Python/Django, React, PostgreSQL, Airflow, BigQuery, GKE, Terraform, and Argo CD.
You Must Have:
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading engineering managers.
- Deep architectural judgment across SaaS, APIs, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and CI/CD.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted development and strong vendor and budget ownership.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with digital marketing, ad tech, or high-volume data integrations.
- Customer-facing multi-tenant enterprise products and SOC 2 environments.
