Job Summary:

  • The Nurse Implementation and Optimization Specialist supports new ER and urgent care facility openings in partnership with health systems.
  • This role requires expert clinical-operational knowledge and strong relational skills to affect staff behavior and drive adoption of the Intuitive operating model.
  • Position involves multi-state travel on a rotational schedule (4 days on-site, 4 days off) and works with many functional areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute operational nursing and clinical workflows for new facility openings and process improvement projects.
  • Provide coaching and encouragement to site-level nursing staff using the Intuitive Operating Model Guide.
  • Lead operational efficiency "Deep Dive" projects and conduct post-implementation analysis with recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school with ADN, BSN, or MSN and unrestricted RN license.
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience, with at least 3 years in ER; freestanding ER and urgent care experience preferred.
  • Current ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and BLS certifications; well versed in point-of-care lab testing and ED radiology.

Work Environment:

  • Healthcare setting with potential exposure to infectious diseases and emotionally challenging situations.
  • May require extended shifts, weekends, holidays, or on-call rotations; travel between facilities required.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and ability to remain composed in fast-paced clinical environments.
