About the Organization:

Position Overview:
- The Strategic Initiatives Director leads a portfolio of emerging programs and initiatives to advance WLA's mission.
- This role guides new initiatives from exploration through implementation and institutionalization.
- The director works across WLA and with external partners to assess opportunities and develop strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify emerging opportunities and develop them into defined initiatives with goals and budgets.
- Manage budgets, grants, and resources while supporting fundraising efforts.
- Supervise staff and represent WLA externally with partners and funders.
