Overview:

  • Lead architecture and correctness of identity workflow systems executing lifecycle operations at scale.
  • Operate with broad technical ownership across provisioning, mapping, and distributed execution pipelines.
  • Define standards and resolve systemic issues to ensure reliability and consistency.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and evolve distributed workflow systems including pipelines, queues, and workers.
  • Ensure correctness, idempotency, and consistency in asynchronous execution across retries and failures.
  • Optimize throughput, parallelism, and performance in large-scale worker fleets.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of distributed production systems.
  • Strong backend development in Ruby, Node.js, or similar; solid understanding of APIs and distributed architectures.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD, and on-call reliability practices.
